I found a grey hair in my hair today?

Well, my friend did. She was playing with my hair and she just found it. It was just as long as all the rest, and it was definitely my hair. She pulled it out and it felt quite hard, like a cat whisker. My hair is brown and I'm a 14 year old girl. Why did I have a grey hair?
