Our one-year-old Boxer is growing weird fur on her back...?

OK, the question says it all. Our one-year-old Boxer, Daisy, started growing weird fur on her back about two months ago. Well, it's not really fur. It looks like whiskers. Sounds crazy, right? I first noticed it around her left shoulder, but then it spread to her whole back. It's like a few random black "whisker" hairs are spread apart all over her back. They're very thin and feel just like the other hairs, except that they are about an inch longer.
