At what age do guys usually get a full grown mustache?

Okay well I shaved last week and I didn't really have any but I did have a bit where it was noticeable but I want it to look fuller and not so spaced out. What I mean is my mustache is starting to grow kind of pointy and not all hairs are growing only some. Does each whisker hacve a different rate of growth? Same thing with my chin beard. I don't have any facial hair on my cheeks. Btw I just turned 18 last month
