Any ideas why my cats not well?

my cats have the runs, well at least one of them does, i feed them mainly dried food and whiskers once a day, they've both been wormed, they seem fine in there selves, i was hoping someone might be able to give me a bit of advice, as i don't have any cash for the vet till the end of the month. thanks :)
