Why is my 9 week old kitten being sick?

Sick as in diarhea or throwing up? Yes could be from the food change. Also could have been from something else he ate (plants and certain food are poisonous to cats and kittens are curious and eat anything). I would keep an eye on him and if he gets worse bring him to the vet. Could be some other sickness.
