So I really like this guy but my dad doesn't?

Alright I really like this guy his name is Jesse. Him and his friend came over today but to my surprise his friend is covered in tattoos! which of course my dad got realllllyyyyy mad. Jesse had like 2 that aren't even really big but my dad doesn't want to see them again I think he's just mad about Jesse's friend. Jesse is a really great guy and I really like him what should I do?
